What a charming example of terroir, Anatolia... A hidden wisdom in the bottle...

Suvla is named after a pristine bay on the north coast of the Aegean Sea on the Gallipoli Peninsula.

The indigenous grape variety Kalecik Karası originates from the Güney Plateau in Denizli and is processed at the Suvla winery. Kalecik Karası delivers the richest and most complex examples in this terroir.

Suvla Kalecik Karası 2023 has a medium body and a bright ruby red color. It displays fruity aromas with notes of strawberry, cherry, and cotton candy, accompanied by herbs. A well-balanced fruity palate with juicy acidity leads to an elegant finish with silky tannins. It pairs perfectly with pita, appetizers, pasta, meze, vegetable mixes, Mediterranean dishes, grilled vegetables, all types of meat, charcuterie boards, or on its own.
